Although double ear tension spring is small, it shoulders important tasks in many key areas, from automotive parts to precision instruments, and its quality affects the operation of the entire equipment. Therefore, in the manufacturing process, a rigorous and comprehensive quality control system is indispensable.

Raw material control is the first checkpoint. High-quality steel is the "foundation" of double ear tension spring. When purchasing, the chemical composition of the material is strictly tested to ensure that the proportion of carbon, silicon, manganese and various alloy elements accurately meets the design requirements. Any deviation may change the mechanical properties of the tension spring. At the same time, the hardness and toughness of the material are randomly inspected, and the working force of the tension spring is simulated by professional equipment to screen out the blanks with defects such as cracks and inclusions, so as to ensure quality from the source.

Process monitoring is crucial. In the spring coiling process, whether it is cold coiling or hot coiling, the temperature, speed, winding force and other parameter specifications must be strictly followed. When cold-rolling, pay close attention to the degree of cold working hardening of the steel wire, regularly measure the outer diameter, pitch and other dimensions of the spring, and calibrate the spring coiling machine in time; when hot-rolling, the temperature is precisely controlled, and the temperature difference must be controlled within a very small range to prevent overheating from causing material tissue degradation or overcooling from affecting the forming accuracy. In the subsequent heat treatment process, the quenching temperature and tempering time are strictly timed and controlled, and real-time feedback and adjustment are made using sensors such as thermocouples to optimize the internal structure of the tension spring and give it ideal elasticity and strength.

Finished product inspection builds a solid defense line for quality. In terms of appearance, check whether the surface of the tension spring is scratched, rusted, or peeled, and whether the welding or connection at the two ears is firm and flat. Minor defects may become stress concentration points. High-precision measuring tools are used for dimensional measurement to ensure that the wire diameter, spring center diameter, effective number of turns, and free height deviation are within the tolerance range and meet the design blueprint. Mechanical performance testing is even more critical. The universal testing machine is used to simulate the actual working load, cycle stretching and compression, draw the force-displacement curve, verify the elastic coefficient, limit load and fatigue life, and resolutely rework or scrap those that do not meet the standards.

From raw materials to finished products, every step of screening and control is strictly adhered to every quality control of double ear tension spring manufacturing, so that it can be stable and reliable in various application scenarios, and its "elastic" force can last for a long time.
